Lan Luh Luh has a PhD (Business Policy) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a LLM (First Class) in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge. She is an Associate Professor with NUS Law School, having previously held a joint position with NUS Business School. She specializes in company law, corporate finance law and corporate governance. She has published in both management and law journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Journal of Business Law, American Journal of Comparative Law and Singapore Journal of Legal Studies.

She has also contributed chapters to books like Walter Woon on Company Law, Law relating to Specific Contracts in Singapore, Independent Directors in Asia, and Research Handbook on Shareholder Power. She teaches Corporate Finance and Securities Law and Corporate Governance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including the double degree UCLA-NUS Executive MBA programme. She has held administrative positions as the Assistant Dean at NUS Business School (2008-09) and Deputy Chairman of the EW Barker Centre for Law & Business (previously known as the Centre for Commercial Law Studies) (2012-2015). She is currently the Academic Director for the UCLA-NUS EMBA Programme and a Board Member of the Charity Council advising the Singapore Commissioner of Charity on regulatory and governance issues relating to charities in Singapore. She also holds a practising certificate with WongPartnership LLP.
