Awards for the Best Papers in the ECGI Working Paper Series in 2025 & Closing remarks (GCGC 2026)
These prizes were awarded at the 2026 Global Corporate Governance Colloquium, held on 12–13 June 2026 at the National University of Singapore.
Marco Becht, ECGI Executive Director introduced the prize session. Mireia Giné of IESE Business School, WRDS and ECGI with Amir Licht, Editor, ECGI Law Series and Reichman University presented the prizes on behalf of the prize sponsor - WRDS.
Jakub Hajda, HEC Montréal, accepted the award on behalf of his co-authors Jason Chen and Joseph Kalmenovitz and presented their prize-winning paper: “Escaping Pay-for-Performance”.
Luca Enriques, Bocconi University, ECGI and Roy Shapira, Reichman (IDC), Boston University, ECGI accepted the award on behalf of their co-author Matteo Gatti and presented their prize-winning paper: “How the EU Sustainability Due Diligence Directive Could Reshape Corporate America".
Closing remarks were given on behalf of National University of Singapore by Luh Luh Lan.
