The 2025 Asian Corporate Law Forum (ACLF), co-hosted by ECGI and held at Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Law in Bangkok on March 25–26, brought together leading scholars from across Asia to discuss cutting-edge research on corporate law and governance.

Session 5 of Day 2 was moderated by Sirikanya Kovilaikool (Chulalongkorn University), with Christopher Chen (National Taiwan University) presenting his paper “Weaponizing Finance and Financial Firms as Surrogate Regulators for Governance and Sustainability,” followed by a discussion led by Kyung-Hoon Chun (Seoul National University).
