Professor Amil Dasgupta

Amil Dasgupta is Professor of Finance and Director of the Financial Markets Group at the LSE. He leads the Sustainable Finance Theme of LSE’s Global School of Sustainability. Amil’s research focuses on the role of institutional investors in corporate governance, sustainable finance, and financial markets. His work has been published extensively in leading academic journals and he has led a major UKRI funded research programme studying stewardship by institutional investors. Amil is an Academic Advisor for the Reserve Bank of India’s research centre, CAFRAL, an Academic Visitor at the Bank of England, and a Director of the European Finance Association.
