Professor Doron Y Levit

Doron Levit is an Associate Professor of Finance and Business Economics and Marion B. Ingersoll Endowed Professor at the University of Washington, Foster School of Business. 

Professor Levit’s research focuses on corporate finance and corporate governance theory. His recent papers analyze shareholder voting, the structure of the board of directors, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder activism. He has published his work in leading finance journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies. 

Professor Levit spent 10 years as a faculty at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance at Stanford University and his Master in Financial Economics and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
