Biography

Fei Xie is Chaplin Tyler Professor of Finance and Iannaccone Faculty Fellow at the University of Delaware. His research interests are primarily in empirical corporate finance with a focus on corporate governance and control. Within this general field, Professor Xie's work spans the areas of takeover defenses, dual-class structure, board of directors, executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions, social trust, corporate disclosure, sell-side analysts, and institutional investors.

 

Professor Xie has published in a wide range of top academic journals including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Accounting and Economics, The Accounting Review, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science, and Contemporary Accounting Research. His research has received significant recognition and citations.
