ECGI Israel Conference 2019 — New Research on Executive Compensation and on Sustainability

Held at Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan, Israel, on 16 December 2019. Papers addressed CEO pay for riskier pay packages, benchmarking of pay components, cost shielding in executive bonus plans, recognition rules and accounting-based compensation, restrictions on CEO pay in China, early exercise of employee stock options, impact investing, the governance and social impact of non-profits, ESG shareholder engagement and downside risk, renewable governance, and the measurement of corporate virtue. Each paper is accompanied by its discussion.
