Dr. Vyacheslav Fos - The Polarization of Corporate America | Ep 6
Associate Professor in the Finance Department at Boston College Dr. Vyacheslav (Slava) Fos investigates how political polarization affects Corporate America, in terms of firms, executives, and shareholders. In this episode of Let's Talk Polarization, Dr. Fos establishes that executive teams in U.S. firms are becoming increasingly partisan, which harms the financial interest of shareholders.
Professor Fos’s research interests include information transmission in financial markets, the role of activist shareholders in corporate governance, and investment and employment consequences of share repurchases. At Boston College, Professor Fos teaches about corporate finance in the Carroll School of Management at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
