Mr. Gonzalo Medina

I am a Chilean attorney with more than 25 years of professional experience. My areas of specialization are criminal law—particularly corporate crime—and compliance, and I regularly advise individuals and companies in these fields. Currently I am also member of the board of the chilean chapter of Transparency International.

In addition, I am a Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Chile's Faculty of Law, and I teach courses and seminars at various universities in Chile and abroad. My academic and research work focuses especially on white-collar crime and corporate criminal liability.

Moreover, in recent years, I have specialized in corporate governance, regularly teaching courses at the Chilean Institute of Directors (Instituto de Directores de Chile, IdDC) on the regulatory framework for directors’ fiduciary duties and sustainability.
