Monsieur Felix Leplege
Biography
I am a doctoral researcher in financial law at Sorbonne Law School (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne), working under the supervision of Professor Alain Pietrancosta, and a legal consultant at Vermeille & Co, a Paris-based boutique firm specialising in securities litigation. My thesis examines the private enforcement of EU capital markets law, with a focus on the civil claims available to investors against issuers, their directors and their statutory auditors, and draws on the economic analysis of law. My research is closely informed by my practice at the firm, where I am involved in market abuse litigation, shareholder activism, and disputes relating to public takeover offers and to investment service providers. I hold a Master’s degree in financial law from Sorbonne Law School, where I graduated first in my class. I work in French and English.
