Mr. Mike Lubrano

Mike is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Valoris Stewardship Catalysts (www.valoriscatalysts.com), a firm that helps investors and their portfolio companies improve corporate governance, investor stewardship, and sustainability performance. Mike has helped dozens of institutional investors build effective stewardship practices and has worked with innumerable company boards and management to improve corporate governance and sustainability to enhance firm value. He served as Manager of International Finance Corporation’s Corporate Governance Practice (1997-2007) and as Co-Founder and Managing Director, Corporate Governance and Sustainability at Cartica Management (2007-2019), an emerging markets ESG-focused fund manager. Mike is an adjunct professor teaching sustainable finance at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. He is the author of Governance, Stewardship, and Sustainability with George Dallas (second edition, Routledge, 2023).
