Biography

I have shaped my academic and professional commitment to combining the different components of legal formation and legal advisory in the field of business law. As a professor, in scholarly research, classroom teaching, writing books and legal papers, and editing journals and collective works. As a practitioner, in notarial assistance to enterprises and companies, in legal consulting and arbitrations, and also attending to corporate boards of directors and auditors. Business and corporate law is a “living law,” in which theoretical study and empirical analysis are enriched by concrete experience and by understanding the actual functioning of the affairs of business entities, markets and institutions. And in turn, these experiences constitute a life-blood of research and teaching in the university.
