Biography
I am a Certified Corporate Director serving on international boards—Hytel Pte Ltd (Singapore), an AI-enhanced software platform; QuantumLinks (UK), a technology innovation company; Arête Strategic AI (Cyprus), providing AI governance advisory; and ShoveBike (South Africa), a climate-smart mobility initiative—and as a member of the International School of Hellerup (ISH) (Copenhagen) Strategic Committee, bringing governance oversight to technology innovation, sustainability, and energy transitions. Currently pursuing my Doctorate in Business Administration (AI/ML) at Walsh College while consulting at Novo Nordisk Engineering, I bridge academic inquiry with practical governance challenges. My 20+ years in digital transformation across pharmaceutical and industrial sectors (including a decade at Dow Chemical leading automation and sustainability programs) provides real-world context to governance research. I hold the Chief Data & AI Officer (CDAIO) certification from National University of Singapore and have completed Executive Programs in ESG Leadership & Strategy. As Steering Member of Dow's Sustainability India Council, I collaborated directly with C-suite leadership on ESG implementation, translating governance frameworks into operational reality. Active in global governance dialogue, I participated in the London Global Convention on Corporate Leadership (2024), COP23 (Bonn), and contribute to International Responsible Leadership (IRL), a UNITAR-associated professional body. I am an alumnus of Boards Impact Forum (Climate Governance Initiative Nordic chapter), member of Chapter Zero Alliance, and alumnus of Founders Institute Nordics. My interest in ECGI stems from the intersection of my board practice and academic research. I seek to contribute practitioner perspectives on AI governance, ESG implementation in manufacturing, and emerging technology oversight while learning from ECGI's distinguished academic community to inform more effective board decision-making.
