Dr Célian Hirsch
Biography
Célian Hirsch is an attorney-at-law, currently a Rock Center Fellow at Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford Law School and an affiliated scholar at the Centre for Banking and Financial Law at the University of Geneva, where he earned his PhD summa cum laude. He was before a visiting researcher at Georgetown University Law Center.
After completing his studies in Fribourg, Zurich, and Geneva, he was admitted to the Geneva bar in 2018. As a member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Geneva Bar Association, he organizes webinars on a wide range of legal topics.
Célian regularly publishes commentaries on recent case law in banking, contract law, procedural law, data protection, and arbitration. His work appears on platforms such as the Centre for Banking and Financial Law website, LawInside, and SwissPrivacy.
