In the seventh public lecture of this series, Professor Jennifer Howard-Grenville of Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge delivered her lecture titled, "Decarbonising Energy and Industry in an Uncertain World"
Professor Howard-Grenville discussed the challenges to developing clean energy and industry when not only the technologies but the policies, investment climate, and social support remain uncertain. Professor Howard-Grenville is an organisational scholar who has spent her career researching organisational and systems change surrounding sustainability.
The lecture was moderated by Esther An, Chief Sustainability Officer, City Developments Limited (CDL).
The series provides monthly in-person or online public lectures. Each lecture will feature a leading academic to present cutting-edge research of a specific topic, and an industry expert to moderate the session, sharing insights from the field and also tailoring audience questions in a way to better enable bridging the gap between research and practice.
