ACLF 2026 | The Fork in the Boardroom: Market Efficiency, Political Signaling, and the Specialist Director in China

The annual ACLF public event and invitation-only conference was held on Tuesday 14 - Wednesday 15 April 2026. It brought together 11 of Asia’s leading law departments, renowned for their expertise in corporate law and governance in Asia. They comprised an engaging forum for the most innovative and impactful new scholarship on Asian corporate law and governance.

This session was moderated by Vivien Chen (Monash University), presented by Kenneth Khoo (National University of Singapore) and followed with a discussion by Takuma Kumashiro (Kobe University).
