ACLF 2026 | A Tale of Two Jurisdictions: Red-Chip Companies Going Private

The annual ACLF public event and invitation-only conference was held on Tuesday 14 - Wednesday 15 April 2026. It brought together 11 of Asia’s leading law departments, renowned for their expertise in corporate law and governance in Asia. They comprised an engaging forum for the most innovative and impactful new scholarship on Asian corporate law and governance.

This session was moderated by Kyung-Hoon Chun (Seoul National University), presented by Wei Zhang (Singapore Management University) and Xu Yan (Singapore Management University) followed with a discussion by Umakanth Varottil (National University Singapore and ECGI).
