The present Standards of Corporate Governance of the Republic of Tajikistan (hereinafter, "Standards") establish national standards for honest and responsible management of joint stock companies of the Republic of Tajikistan (hereinafter, "Companies"), based upon best national and international practices of enterprise management. These Standards are designed to enhance the level of confidence placed by national and international investors, business partners, consumers, employees, and members of the public in the leadership and oversight systems of joint stock companies.
