Biography

Henrik Vassallo is Advisor of EU & European Affairs for some of Sweden’s largest and most renowned blue-chip companies, having successfully established a European Affairs consultancy in 2025. Clients include Investor AB, FAM AB, SEB AB, Saab AB and Mölnlycke. He advises the management of the clients on all matters related to EU and European affairs, in Brussels and throughout Europe.


Previously, he established and headed up the Wallenberg family’s EU office in Brussels where he also represented Investor AB, FAM AB and Wallenberg Investments AB. Before that he worked at the head office of the Wallenberg family in Stockholm.


Henrik is a former VP and Head of Saab France & Benelux as well as VP Saab EU Affairs & NATO in Brussels, an office he established in 2008.
Before joining Saab, he was a consultant at Kreab, advising his clients on matters related to EU Affairs, the internal market, financial affairs and competition law. He also worked in the Cabinet of the Maltese European Commissioner Joe Borg in 2006.


Currently, he is a Board Member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in France as well as a board member of the Swedish-French Language Foundation (Stiftelsen Svensk-Franska Språkfonden) He has also served as a member of the reference group to the Swedish ambassador in France on the Franco-Swedish Innovation Partnership, as well as a board member of SPN and SNS in Brussels.


Henrik Vassallo has studied Business Administration and Economics at Lund University, Sweden, followed by an LLB degree (Law) at the University of London and holds a diploma from IHEDN (Institute for Higher National Defence Studies in France). During his studies, he held several internships in Europe including at General Electric, Clifford Chance and Landwell.
