Professor Edita Čulinović-Herc

Professor Edita Čulinović-Herc is the Head of the Chair of Commercial and Company Law at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Law, as well as the Head of the Department of Corporate and Financial Law and the Co-director of then Postgraduate University Specialistic Study Programme “Corporate Finance Law” at the same Faculty. From 2011 to 2017 she was the Vice Dean for Research at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Law. From 2020 she has been the Vice President of the Council of Honor at the University of Rijeka. She was the Principal Researcher of the Croatian Science Foundation research project “Legal Aspects of Corporate Acquisitions and Knowledge Driven Companies’ Restructuring” from 2015 to 2019. From 2018 she has been the Principal Researcher of the research project granted by the University of Rijeka titled “Legal Aspects of Companies Restructuring and Transition Towards New Corporate Governance Culture”. She is member of the Scientific Council for Public Administration, Judiciary and the Rule of Law of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and from 2022 she has been the President of the Supervisory Board of the Croatian Academy of Legal Sciences. She was Winner of the Zagreb Stock Exchange Academy Award for Contribution to Capital Market Education in 2023.
