Biography
Dr Christophe George is a Research Associate at the Cambridge Centre for Business Research, specialised in CSR and ESG matters. His research lies at the intersection between the fields of company law, management, and sustainable finance. He is Lecturer on these topics at the University of Geneva and the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland.
His monograph: Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility: How to Tackle Environmental Imperatives in Company Law? (Legal and Management Perspectives) (Stämpfli Publishers, 950 pages), focuses on the impacts and integration of environmental and social issues in company law and legal systems more generally, with cross-disciplinary insights, comprising both practical and theoretical considerations and a set of new frameworks to apprehend these issues.
The dissertation on which it is based received the 2023 Law Faculty Prize of the University of Lausanne and was published in October 2023
