Professor Bénédicte François
Biography
Bénédicte François is a Doctor of Law (University Panthéon-Assas (PARIS II), FRANCE). Her thesis on Public Offering was awarded in 2004 by the University PARIS II. She passed the Paris Bar exam. She is a Professor at the Faculty of Law (University of Paris Est - Créteil - PARIS XII). She is the Associate Director of the Doctoral Schools Department of "University Paris Est" ("Communauté d'Universités et établissement (COMUE) Paris Est").
She is the Codirector of the Master “Criminal Business Law” and teaches Corporate Law, Financial Law and Bankruptcy Law. She is the Secretary General of the “Revue des sociétés” (Dalloz publisher), the French oldest Corporate Law Review, founded in 1883.
Her research areas deal principally with Company Law, Corporate governance, Financial Law.
Previously she was a graduate Assistant at the University Panthéon-Assas (PARIS II), then a Lecturer at PARIS II and at the University René Descartes (PARIS V) and an Associate Professor at the University of TOURS. She was the Associate Director of the Human and Social Sciences Doctoral School.
