Dr Andiara Petterle
Biography
Board Director | Transformation Executive | AI & Digital Governance Scholar
Dr. Andiara Petterle is an internationally recognized board director, transformation executive, and digital governance thought leader with more than 25 years of experience navigating digital disruption, ESG integration, and organizational renewal. Her career spans executive leadership, high-impact board service, entrepreneurship, and pioneering academic research on governance in the digital era.
She currently serves as an Independent Board Member at Banco Sicredi and SicrediPar (Brazil’s fifth-largest bank), Trocafone Inc., Dialog CI (AI HRTech startup), and until 2025 at Knewin LATAM. She also concluded her mandate as Vice-Chairperson of the Board and Chair of the Strategy Committee at Companhia Melhoramentos de São Paulo (2019–2025), and served as Independent Director at Assaí Atacadista (NYSE: ASAI, BVMF: ASAI3, 2023–2025), Grupo Cia de Talentos, ANJ – Brazilian National Association of Newspapers, and Predicta. Across these boards she contributed to Strategy, Audit, Risk, Nomination & Compensation, and ESG Committees, shaping governance, succession, and transformation practices.
In her executive career, she was Executive Vice President at Grupo RBS, leading a multi-year financial and digital turnaround across TV, radio, print, and digital operations. As co-founder and CEO of Grupo Bolsa de Mulher, she built one of Latin America’s largest digital platforms for women, later acquired by Univision/Vix. She also held senior roles at Ebricks Digital and Kyrie Capital LLC, focusing on tech investment, M&A, and sustainable scale-up strategies.
Andiara holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (Ph.D.) from Business School Lausanne (2025), where she defended her dissertation Digital Transformation Leadership: The Role of Board Members' Digital Acumen in Selected Brazilian Public Companies. Her work introduces the Dynamic Digital Stewardship Framework and develops a Board Digital Acumen Assessment Tool tailored to emerging markets. She also completed executive education at Stanford, Harvard, Oxford, and UC Berkeley, with certifications in Digital Transformation, ESG, and AI Governance. She is a Certified Director (CCA+) by IBGC and a faculty member at IBGC’s Director Certification Program, where she teaches digital transformation, AI governance, and stakeholder capitalism.
She is an active member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), Women Corporate Directors (WCD), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD, USA), the Institute of Directors (UK), and IBGC (Brazil). Recognized by Advertising Age, Meio & Mensagem, FastCompany, and Época Negócios, she is frequently listed among the most influential women in media, technology, and corporate governance.
Fluent in Portuguese and English, with working knowledge of Spanish and French, she divides her time between São Paulo, London, Orlando, and Lausanne.

Her doctoral research provides empirical evidence on how board-level digital competencies influence transformation outcomes in Brazilian public companies. Deliverables include the Dynamic Digital Stewardship Framework, the Board Digital Acumen Assessment Tool, and actionable insights for regulators and directors on AI, ESG, and data governance.

As founder and CEO, she advises early and growth-stage companies in AI, digital platforms, and sustainability. Current mandates focus on AI governance, ESG integration, and capital allocation strategies in Brazil and Latin America.
