At a critical time when the decisions we make will shape the future for generations to come, Lisbon Sustainability Week is a catalyst for action to Empower Sustainable Change and Development.

Lisbon Sustainability Week brings together global thought leaders, academics, policymakers, practitioners and industry pioneers from corporations, financial markets, policy institutions, and civil society to rethink how we can collectively build a fair, balanced, and sustainable future.

This year’s focus theme is: Building Sustainability Together.

Held from 29 June to 2 July 2026 at CATÓLICA-LISBON and Santander Central Services, #LSW26 will be a journey of thought-provoking talks, dynamic debates, hands-on workshops and masterclasses, dissemination of scientific knowledge, and high-impact networking. A hub for connection with top professionals — including policymakers, regulators, financial experts, corporate leaders, researchers, international institutions, NGOs, and community organizations — gathered to advance sustainability across markets, policy, business and society.

This year's ECGI Wallenberg Lecture will be delivered by Nobel Laureate and ECGI Research member, Professor Robert Engle as part of Lisbon Sustainability Week 2026.
