Dr Patrizia Lucia Maria Riva

Patrizia Riva graduated with first class honours in Business Economics, specializing in becoming a Professional Public Accountant; she was awarded her degree on April 14, 1993 by the Rector of Università L. Bocconi of Milan, Prof. Mario Monti.


She obtained a Ph.D. in Business and Management Economics at Università Luigi Bocconi of Milan in June 2000.


She is a researcher at Università del Piemonte Orientale ?Amedeo Avogadro?, Novara.


Since 1993 she has been employed on contract to teach Financial Accounting at Università Bocconi of Milan and since 2002 she also has a contract to teach Corporate Governance and Charter Accounting at Università del Piemonte Orientale.


From 2004 she has formed part of the Scientific Committee of IR Top magazine (Investor Relation Top).


She has formed part of the National Executive Committee of AIDEA-giovani, as Chairman of Meeting Organization Committee since 2001.


Since 2002 she has also formed part of the National Committee ?Professional Training Continues? of the National Accounting Council (Committee assigned to evaluate and credit all courses organized by all Italian local Accounting Councils).


Since 1999 she has been in charge of the High Training School of the Accounting Council of Milan and Director of ?Collana dei Quarderni? of the same High Training School.


She is author of articles and working papers written both in Italian and English.
