Dr. Narmin Nahidi
Biography
I am currently an assistant professor of Finance and Management at the University of Exeter, a globally renowned institution committed to academic excellence. In this new role, I'll impart knowledge across various subjects within finance, tailored specifically for degree apprenticeships. Additionally, my ongoing research endeavors span various facets of corporate finance, fintech, and behavioral finance.
With over 23 years of combined experience in academia and industry, my career has encompassed roles as a lecturer, researcher, consultant, and manager across an array of finance, business, and management sectors. My mission is unwavering: to equip the next generation of finance professionals with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they require to adeptly navigate our complex and ever-changing financial world.
I have a strong commitment to high-caliber research, particularly at the intersection of international business, media, information, and technology in finance. My academic contributions have found their way into peer-reviewed journals and have been showcased at international conferences. I hold a Ph.D. in Management with a concentration in Finance from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) I am a Certified Management & Business EducatorCertified Management & Business Educator from the Chartered Association of Business Schools.
