An early career academic who had made a return journey to teaching after having worked as a lawyer as well as a teacher. Prior to this he was associated with Tamil Nadu National Law University as a teaching faculty and then as a legal practitioner at Madras High Court.
His broad areas of interest include Corporate and Commercial Laws and his research interests focuses on the evolutionary role of corporate creditors since the inception of modern company law and to understand its overall impact on corporate laws, finance, insolvency and governance.
Further fascinated by the interdependence of private legal rules, institutions and their impact on economic outcomes, he is currently pursuing his second Masters in Law and Economics- Markets, Regulators and Corporations Track as an "Outreach Scholar" at Hamburg University, Germany.
